With the hiring process complete, we would like to officially welcome you to CTSJ! An orientation will be scheduled for you to have you first day with the company. Things to expect include meeting our staff, familiarizing yourself with our product, printing transfers, and working with customers to sell our merchandise. This process starts out in smaller shifts ramping up in time and content as you progress through our training steps . This is our preferred approach to help our new employees retain the training we give as there is a lot to cover. Depending on your time of hire (On or Off season) the length of your training shifts may vary. Keep in mind we will be there to guide you every step of the way in order to provide your best opportunity to be successful.
Utilize this time wisely! Read and explore this manual often! The amount of effort you put fourth during this time is essential.
All new employees start on a probation period to ensure that the staff we keep is up to the task! In order to become a permanent team member in CTSJ, employees must pass an evaluation by the end of their probation period. See 14.1 Training for a descriptive overview of what to expect during your probationary training. See 14.2 Evaluation for more info regarding what is expected at the end of your probationary training.
Once you’ve successfully completed you probationary evaluation, we will continue to help you develop and grow using more advanced skill trainers. As your skills develop, you become a more valuable asset and more opportunities will become available to you.
