Acceptable use of the 40% Employee Discount
- ALL employee purchases require that the employee’s name be entered as the “Customer” for that sale
- The 40% Employee Discount can only be applied to direct purchases made by the employee. In other words, it can only be used when employees are buying something for their own personal use, or as an actual direct gift to someone else (Example: a birthday present from the employee to their sibling).
- Application of the 40% discount to indirect “gift” purchases made through an employee (simply to get the discount) is prohibited. In such cases, the 15% Friends & Family Discount may be applied instead.
- Only managers are permitted to ring up a sale utilizing the 40% Employee Discount. If an employee wishes to make a purchase, and is not willing to wait for a manager to be available to enter the sale, they can make the purchase at regular price (they still need to enter their name as the “Customer” for the sale).
- Employees are not allowed to purchase pre-print assembly items. If they wish to purchase a garment/print combo that happens to be a preprint, it must be custom-printed and the garment & print added separately to the sale.
- Items must be fully entered into the POS system prior to purchase (shipments of new merchandise must be fully processed and in the system before employees are allowed to purchase it).
- Be advised that all Employee purchases will be tracked and monitored. Any abuse of these discounts may result in privileges being revoked and/or employee termination.
